My Personality and Goal as a Teacher

As a Finnish teacher, I have received feedback from my previous students, who often commented on my patience and calm demeanor. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach students from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I understand that everyone learns a language at their own pace and in their own way, and I believe that my personal experience of learning Finnish as an adult has made me especially sensitive to the needs of my students. I am also experienced in teaching online, and I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students can feel more confident and connected to the Finnish language after each lesson. I am always willing to share my own language learning journey with those who are interested, and I am committed to helping my students succeed.

Lesson and Teaching Styles

I am confident in my ability to teach Finnish grammar, but my teaching style is flexible and tailored to each student's preferences, language level, and goals. For beginners, the focus is on grammar, vocabulary, and actively using the language in our lessons. If you already have some knowledge of Finnish, we can assess your needs on the first lesson, and customize the lessons accordingly. I provide all the necessary materials, so you don't need to worry about buying or preparing anything unless you have specific preferences.
